Task 3,4 and 5

Task 3 Patriarchal society- men are in authority over women in all aspects of society. I don't think that we are in a patriarchal society because women have authority over men in things like teaching. Task 4 Celebrity magazines like Star supports her opinion because people look at what celebrity's are doing and want to be like them and portrays women should be thin and glamorous, men should be have a six pack and be fearless. Task 5 The media could show women playing the role of men in films and women doing the same jobs as men.

Task 2

Female Oscar-winners summary   16 percent of the women that have taken home the best actress Oscar over the past 88 years of the academy awards have done so by playing the role of wives. 2 percent of men won an award for playing husbands.  males are defined by professional, well respected jobs and women by relationships and caregivers. Hollywood's appeal is to show what we can be not necessarily what we are. Hollywood is sexist

What are the main reasons for the lack of female leads in video games? I disagree I think there is an equal amount of female leads in video games but they are not that popular because of the story line, type of game or the graphics.
